Event Description:
Become a CASA Volunteer and support our local foster children and at-risk yout in our community. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers are ordinary people doing extraordinary work for abused, neglected and at-risk children and youth in dependency and juvenile justice court systems. CASA's are appointed by local judges to advocate and provide a powerful voice for a child or youth during their uncertain journey in the court system.  If your interested in becoming a volunteer please visit our website: www.casaeldorado.org or call our local office at (530) 573-3093 to get started today and be approved to attend the CASA training series. 
Location:
The traiinng series will take place at Lake Tahoe Community College located at One College Dr., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Specifically, the training series will take place in room A211 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Date/Time Information:
The training series will occur on the follwing dates and times:

1. Class #1: June 6, 2019, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
2. Class #2: June 13, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
3. Class #3: June 20, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
4. Class #4: June 27, 2019 form 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Fees/Admission:
Free Admission for all. Prior to attending the training, please complete our online application at www.casaeldorado.org and complete an in-person interview with program staff.
