Downtown Carson City Chamber TREK

Join us to learn more about how Carson City leaders and community members successfully remade and revitalized their downtown main street. There are strong parallels between the Carson City Downtown Redevelopment Project and the current opportunity that we have here in the South Shore of Lake Tahoe of developing the Main Street Management Plan as part of the US Highway 50 Community Revitalization Project. This TREK will allow us to understand the history of the project, explore their process, and enjoy the beautiful result.

The Chamber TREK will include:

• A charter bus to Carson City, departing from South Lake Tahoe
• Lunch at The Union in downtown Carson City
• A presentation from project leaders on the history of the Carson City Downtown Redevelopment Project
• A walking tour of the key sections of the downtown district

Charter bus will depart from the Tahoe Chamber office. Price includes charter bus and lunch. Please register by July 8th to reserve your spot.
