Lake Tahoe Humane Society Logo Design Contest

The Lake Tahoe Humane Society wants to collaborate with you to breathe new life into the organization. As we pull together our "Restart, Rebuild, Restore, and Re-engage" plan, we are asking for the community to participate in a logo design contest. The objective of this contest is to create a new logo that will be a part of our transformation as we progress towards our end-goal of restoring services back to the community.

REQUIREMENTS:

• An offcial and inspiring logo created by you with up to 100 words or less description regarding the concept, what inspired you, and why you think it is representative of Animal Welfare in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
• 1 or 2 colors, preferably 1.
• A symbol (Something that is representative of animals, animal welfare).
• Bold in presence. Think Panasonic, Best Friends Organization, Target, Apple.
• The symbol/logo should stand on its own and not have the name of the organization incorporated with it.
• The symbol/logo should be original artwork. Not copyrighted elsewhere or resembling other logos. Please note that the winning concept will be converted to a digital file and originator must release all rights to the Lake Tahoe Humane Society.
• Concepts can be computer generated or hand drawn. All hand drawn concepts will be converted to a digital format by a volunteer third party for replication in print, web, etc.
• All ages are welcomed to participate.
• Entries must be submitted by 5pm, May 31, 2018 to info@laketahoehumanesociety.org or at our office at 884 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96158.

PRIZES:

• Printed recognition in our local papers, social media, and possibly the local TV.
• A certificate of recognition from the Lake Tahoe Humane Society.

EVALUATION:

• Submissions will be evaluated by the board of directors based on the guidelines and the specifications provided above.
• The winner will be contacted by email or phone no later than June 10.
• All submissions will become the property of the Lake Tahoe Humane Society.
