Event Description:
This Level UP Workshop will explore small business tax saving strategies that will save you money and stress. Scott Peters from MUN CPAs will be the workshop facilitator and share information on topics such as when to incorporate your business, the small business cycle, tax planning strategies, tax credits and how they change the game, and other tax incentive opportunities.
Scott Peters is a licensed CPA who has a passion for helping small businesses. As the manager of the South Lake Tahoe MUN CPAs office, he has experience working with companies in multiple industries and has handled tax returns for C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC's and individual income. Scott’s work has an emphasis in preparing and calculating Research & Development tax credits for sole proprietorship's, startups, and existing companies, and he is also knowledgeable of Opportunity Zone Funds, a highly anticipated tax incentive passed with the new 2017 tax law.
