Snow Camping 101-Part 2

Join us for Part 2 of Snow Camping 101. This is an overnight weekend experience to learn snow camping tips and tricks on how to enjoy the night in a wintry backcountry. 

The field portion of this training will focus on real life application from the classroom lecture and preparatory work with hands-on practice under the direction and supervision of the instructors. You can expect the following: Hike with gear for 1 mile, Review campsite selection and setup camp, Take an afternoon excursion, Practice meal prep, safe cooking, and food storage, Practice winter Leave No Trace principals including restroom use, Assure your sleep setup will be warm and safe, Hike to watch the sunset, Sleep using tricks to keep warm, Cook and eat breakfast.
SNOW CAMPING 101 REQUIRES YOUR ATTENDANCE FOR BOTH THE CLASSROOM AND FIELD PORTIONS OF THIS TRAINING.
