Live Violence Free is excited to announce An Afternoon of Peace & Harmony at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys happening on Saturday, September 7, 2019. The Live Violence Free annual fundraiser will incorporate elements of the long standing Sunset Gala and Lake Tahoe's love for live music. This year we will create a more relaxed, fun event of live performances, food vendors, raffles and special VIP benefits that many Live Violence Free supporters have experienced at the Sunset Gala -- complimentary wine, beer, food from local vendors and silent auction with table seating provided near the stage.

NIKKA COSTA
In the years since her debut, Nikka Costa has toured with Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, and Beck, has recorded with superstar DJ and produce Mark Ronson, was nominated for an MTV Music Award, and had multiple hit singles in Europe. Known for the raw allure and energy of her kinetic live performances, Nikka's voice and stage presence have been compared favorably to everyone from Janis Joplin to Chaka Khan to Sly Stone. Her latest record Nikka & Strings is rooted in this legacy and is most remarkable for how it marries the soulful dynamism of her previous work to her recent exploration of intimate performance. Sal’s Greenhouse is a powerhouse funk/soul collective led by baritone saxophonist Sally Green from Oakland.
??On the fast track to success, Sal's Greenhouse has several club plays on their resume supporting national acts such as Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Big Sam's Funky Nation, Dumpstaphunk, Dirty Dozen Brass Band & more. Their debut EP "The Constant" released in 2016 & their new EP "The Bloom" scheduled to release in 2019. Stacked with some of the best Bay Area talent, their energy and chemistry together is a formula for original dance music most audiences have yet to experience.

Featuring Tahoe locals Martin Bush, Simon Kurth, Keith Ovelmen, Lowell Wilson, and Danny Barnes, Mescalito has been entertaining folks with their intoxicating blend of fun covers and originals since 2016.
