Accounting Assistant
Part-Time (16 hours/week)
General Tasks
  • Prepare invoices for internal and external customers
  • Follow up with statements, reminders, phone calls
  • Process invoices
  • Process sales: retail, credit card, online
  • Process petty cash reimbursements and reconciliations
  • Assist Accounting Manager with annual audits, research, filing, bank deposits and other projects
  • Run errands in town to acquire signatures from Board Members
Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to handle tasks for multiple organizations accurately and timely
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with co-workers and management
